The finish on the container is not perfectly smooth. This is more of a cast iron old cauldron. If you would like a smooth cauldron let me know and I can make that version. 

Unmolding the outside is simple but the inside you have to work one edge out and it'll pop right out. The soft silicone works great for making the unmolding easy but it also makes it tougher on flared out containers like this. The top collar is large enough where I haven't broken anything unmolding it, but just know it doesn't pop right out and does require some patience.
